Behind the name

Before I knew what a DAW or a synthesizer was, I already sought refuge in sound. In my childhood, music was a lantern in the shadows.

Origins and childhood

From a very young age, I knew that music would be a part of my life, although I wasn’t sure how. My grandmother enrolled me in guitar lessons, but when I saw that my younger brother progressed faster, I became discouraged; that was one of the first times I felt disconnected from something I wanted. I didn’t understand that these kinds of frustrations would be an essential part of my artistic journey.

The electronic awakening

But everything changed on a highway, returning from a family trip. EXA FM was playing on the radio, and between commercials, a song slipped in that would change my course: “One” by Swedish House Mafia. I fell in love with it so much that I made a habit of listening to the radio and preparing a cassette to record the best songs. I asked my father for a USB drive with electronic music, and soon I discovered a universe on YouTube where I met DJ BL3ND, a crazy guy who danced like he was possessed in front of his camera. And I thought: “That… that’s what I want to do.”
Shortly after, my father took me to a high school event at a nightclub without alcohol. It was the first time I’d seen a DJ in action; I didn’t drink or dance, I just watched and understood that what I wanted wasn’t to attend the party, but to be the one creating it.

First steps as a DJ

I searched “how to be a DJ” on Google, downloaded Virtual DJ and, with my PC keyboard, I began exploring sounds at night. I wanted to go further, so I learned to automate functions, program effects, understand what a good mix was and why. I showed up at small gatherings with a laptop of just 7 inches and yet, something magical happened. All those people moved for me, they stayed happy; time disappeared and I felt complete.

Musical exploration

Likewise, I fell in love with the piano, and I set out to play a piece that obsessed me: “The Unforgiven III.” Music pushed me toward new languages; classical scores taught me precision, DAWs taught me freedom. I discovered Ableton Live, and that’s where another chapter began. I was captivated by its real-time creation logic, and it has been my creative home ever since.
I also explored music theory on my own; I read books, blogs, videos, notes on Notion—anything that could connect ideas. I understood that music isn’t just heard; it’s constructed like a fractal universe. Each chord can take you somewhere else if you understand how to navigate it.

Influences and evolution

Eventually, I immersed myself in artists who defined my vision: Tiësto, with his show Club Life, taught me about storytelling and selection. I analyzed over 150 episodes, dissecting their transitions and choices. Then came Aphex Twin, through an interview with Skrillex. His music was a turning point, a beautiful disorder, a chaotic harmony that spoke directly to the soul. It changed me.
With Fred Again…, I discovered another dimension. His ability to translate emotions into sound showed me that intimacy can also be electronic. I, who since childhood have felt a tingling sensation in my brain with certain harmonies—what’s now called ASMR—understood that this sensitivity was a tool, not an obstacle. Today I have over 50 themed playlists where I save every treasure I find.

Artistic philosophy

This whole journey made me understand something essential: a DJ doesn’t just play songs, they build soundscapes. Technique matters, yes. But what truly sets you apart is your intention. I work in Ableton Live, somewhere between techno and UK garage, with Latin influences and a cinematic sensibility. I’m inspired by both Skrillex’s energetic sets and Fred Again’s introspective passages. My goal is to create a unique experience for everyone, one that resonates deeply and touches your soul.
And ultimately, I’ll keep learning and creating. I want to share this passion with you, build sonic bridges, and relive the magic of playing like children. If my music moves you, join the journey! A pinky hug!
